Harvest Hollow Farm

Harvest Hollow Farm is the comfort food of my phone. You inherit a rundown plot and slowly turn it into something green, planting crops, tending animals, and befriending the townsfolk. Nothing punishes you for taking it slow, which is exactly the point.

The seasonal loop is well designed — certain crops only grow at certain times, so planning ahead becomes a gentle little puzzle. Fishing and cooking add side goals without feeling like busywork.

It does ask for daily check-ins if you want optimal harvests, but the game is just as happy if you drop in twice a week. That flexibility is rare and welcome.
